Well things are moving along with the new frame but I do have a question.
I have new tubular control arms top and bottom with new ball joints. After I mounted the spindles last night they are very hard to turn. The steering rack is not mounted yet and I am moving them with the backing plate only.
The questions I have are: Are new ball joints hard to turn, when greasing them they did not seem to take much grease, will the free up some if I move them side to side and work some of the grease around on the inside, How do you know when you have enough grease in them. I had to tighten them down almost to the point the safety key is at the top of the nut. Any thing less and the nut would turn when I moved the spindle. Now the ball joint and nut moves together.
My old ones were free for the most part but these are very hard.... any help here guys
