To pull the front clip with engine and tranny attached:
fuel line
brake line
fire wall wiring
exhaust
steering column to box
heater hose
speedo cable
throttle linkage
engine to fire wall ground straps
tranny crossmember
and of course the 12 bolts that hold the subframe on
forgeting anything?

You'll have to take the colum loose on the inside to get the right angle to remove it.

Why would you need to take out/loosen the tranny crossmember if you're taking the transmission out, too?? :confused:
And from what I remember, there's only 4 bolts holding the subframe to the body. :confused:

un bolt the tranny from the crossmember and there are 6 lower bolts and 6 upper bolyts total on the subframe This is a 67 nova

There are actually 8 lower bolts, 4 on each side. A total of 14 (4 lower, 3 supper) bolts will let it drop right out as long as you've got all of the previous stuff taken care of.
It's amazing how little holds the front end of these pigs on. :eek:

It's worse for us 3rd/4th genners. 4 bolts!! :eek:
