i got my new summit catalog today in the mail. i opened it up and first thing i saw was a $450 front disc brake kit for the nova. seems pretty complete, what do you guys think? i can tell you what i'm thinking right now. christmas present for myself. :geek:

part number SUM-BK1000

would a drum brake master cylinder work with a single piston caliper? what about the proportioning valve? do you need more or less pressure to actuate a disc brake?

Ask them about how complete it is. No the original master cylinder will not work. Yes you do need a proportioning valve (it is to release pressure when you take your foot off the pedal so the pads will retract). You can use your drum brake spindles if you cut off the boss on the top. Check out...
