I was at the glen burnie cruise about 2 weeks ago , well over 100 cars probably closer to 200.but only 1 first gen nova, but several 2/3 gens

I will be heading over that way tonite.would love to meet a few menbers of the site, altough I'll be in the burb. my wagon it's mobile at the moment(or any time soon)

I wish my Chevy II was road worthy but she is still this :beat: I hope to have the body work done by next spring, (if the boss lets me) and paint by next summer. It's tough when you are living on a fixed income to get something done with a project car.

But, a spring fling next year, sounds good to me. Every year there is a major "spring fling" in Mechanicsville where there has to be at least 300 + cars there. It would be nice to have the Md Novas meet there in force..


BTW.... does anybody know of any good body shop guys that can really get the job done at a fair price (and a guarantee) :confused: :confused:

From Md. Also, Up North Of Belair, Along With Hawk And Nova10sec. I Think The Glen Burnie Thing Is Over, Some Of Us Meet At Lowes On Rte. 24 Off Of 95n On Friday Nites, But Its Gettin Cold And The Numbers Are Dwindlin'. Had About 60 Cars This Past Friday. Me And Hawk Are Both Switchen' Engines After This Weekend So Well Be Down For A Week Or So. Can't Wait For Summer, Winter Sucks.

Why did they stop Glenn Burnie??? I remember that place would be hopping crazy on Saturday nights with about 140+ cars!!! Besides the show on Rte 24, is there anywhere else that someone from SOMD would go and just look at cool cars?? I know that the A&W in Calloway has a small group but, I am looking for something that will take an evening to look at all the cars..

What's up fellow Marylanders? I am new to the Nova family. Just picked up a 1973 from Fort Washington. It is a pretty decent ride, but I am looking to do some engine and interior work. It has a 1969 Impala 327 cu in engine. I know it is winter now and not much going on, but I would still like to meet up sometime to talk shop etc. I don't have a garage at my townhouse, but I got a storage shed where I am going to keep and work on it during the winter.
