Anyone in Central Jersey want to to join us at the Garden State Chevelle Street Meet Show? Sunday Oct.1 Show is located in Kenilworth off exit 137.Bill Bryce (72orange) and myself are meeting at exit 120 of the Garden State Parkway around 10am in commuter parking lot.Or you can meet us there.Anyone else down?

Of course there was 4 Nova guys left at the bar long after all the 'velle wusses went home to take their naps :D

Seriously though, it's a great venue for a show and the restaurant has great food. I'll be there, I'm sure Randy (blueduece) will be there and I'll be speaking to Bob (novamaniac) tonight or tomorrow so I'll check with him.

Is anybody else game?

Looks like the show was cancelled. I checked the website on Sunday morning and it said rain or shine.

Bill, I called your cell phone on Saturday Night and got no answer.

I have been on the road on and off for the last couple of weeks and have not had time to post. I might be back on the road again this week.

I have the 74 cleaned up better and am ready for a couple more shows before the end of the season.

Jeff Tkacik who was meeting us there showed up around 11:30 called me and said they cancelled.No word of a make up date.

I might go to one by me on the 14th. It is at the Commerce Bank Ball Park in Bridgewater. I know saturdays are bad for you. I do not know any details for the classic cars.

Sorry about that Bob. I threw out my back last friday and spent the last 4 days on my back. Just got back to work today.

As George said, the show was rained out. Randy and George did some checking around and found a show in (East or North I'm not sure which) Brunswick this Sunday (I think). I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it though. I still need to get my new carb on and tuned. Right now bending over my engine compartment does not feel real good,so I'm not sure when I'll have it together yet.

I'm sure George will chime in here with particular details for this weekend.

It's the 21st Annual Corvette & Classic Car & Truck Show at the Route 18 Market, East Brunswick, NJ 732-388-8285. I hear it's a great show. Looks like I won't be able to make it either. The Boss (wife) wants me to go pumkin picking with her and her friends :eek:. I told her I was going to the show and she could go with her frinds, but she got mad.

No problem Bob. I didn't get any responses so I didn't go either. It wouldn't have been the same w/o you guys. We discussed getting together again for burgers and beers :beer: in the next few weeks (with or w/o the cars) so keep that in mind while the weather is still decent.

BTW, there is a show and cruise in southern Delaware this Sat./Sun. I think it's called the Apple Scrapple. My Delaware nova and chevelle buddies called and invited me. If anyone else just happens to be down there look for me.

I don't think I will make the Delaware show and the following weekend I have to have a garage sale.

Lets hope we have a Indian Summer and we can get the cars together again and like you said if we don't we can always meet somewhere.
