trim refinishing & repair

i replaced the corner molding on my 74 nova recently and the trim that runs from it above the headlight was damaged when i removed it the little metal edge that is held by a bracket was cracked and i was wondering if theres any metal glue or something that would work instead of getting a new trim peice wish i wasnt a clumsy teenager hah
