I usually go up on Friday but I'm driving to Buffalo area to pick up my new(to me) wagon Friday. I should be there Saturday if the weather doesn't look too bad.

Did the Barrie swap today, about half full with vendors but not much in the way of Nova or Acadian parts. Saw a 64 grill and tailites ($80) for an Acadian and a grill and lower valance panel for a 66 Nova ($45). Weather should be good for Friday---good hunting!

Going to head up there this am. Looks like the weather is going to be nasty tomorrow.

Had a great time at Barrie got "9983621" bellhousing,BB 4spd trans mount, side marker bezels, and a pair of eye brow mouldings.I'm a happy camper cause I also found out an M20 I bought yesterday for $400 is really an M22,some days are better than others.
Some dude wanted $950 for a 67 console I almost died cause it was for from mint.

Where in Barrie are they having it? I used to go Molson Park in Barrie for the Lollapallooza shows back in the mid to late 90's (I grew up 20 min south of Buffalo).

Id go just for the good beer (all we get down here in Texas is Labatts Blue!!!)

-John (the Molson Canadian was always better across the border!)

It's held at Burl's Creek about 25 min. north off where Molson Park was.Follow highway 400 untill you come to highway 11 & 400 split stay to the left which will be #11 and it's about 15 min from there on your right you won't miss it it is vary easy to see from the high way.Be prepared to stop quick sometimes the line up is out to the #11 highway,it's in the town of Oro Madonte.
If I'd known I would been happy to buy ya one:D

I was there Sat. I got two NOS headlight rings for a 65, NOS lower fender molding for the front of my 64, two 65 reverse lens(1 NOS). Total price was $23. Still smiling. Also got a nice used headlight trim piece for the 64 as a spare and a peice of flat carpet pretty cheap.

digging up a old thread....
I was at sterling, heard many say they are not going to Barrie.
Could not get a solid reason from any.
Is it still worth the trip?

You need to get there early to make it worth while IMO.I've gone and found nothing sometimes and others I didn't have enough money to buy everything I wanted! My only complaint is all the non automotive stuff that is mixed in,the vendors should sepperate it and the ones that are selling other items should be in a different section. It's a good 8-10 hr day of looking.

That's the most common complaint I have been hearing from vendors and people looking to buy.

Got most of what I need from "crosscanadaparts" for a very reasonable price.
A few things from the very back or a wreaking yard. I mean WAY back.

Just need a few trim parts.

Know were to get them, just a matter of $$$$$.
