Hey Ron I got a call from Shirley at National Nova last Thursday and she said I had won the trophy for best street from the Nationals. On top of the plaque for street winner this was quite an honor! It has to be shipped out in a chair box. The boss is already complaining about it because of it's size but I'm sure I can find a nice spot for it. Had a great time and we may return for next year. The Acadian made the trip of 1400 miles (burned 93 gallons of the good stuff) with only the one war wound on the passenger quarter. My body man has it repaired and I'm light $700. Have you saw the nice pictures from the nationals on the edge of speed website? Enjoy the races. Try to keep in touch.

Hi Chris, you deserved the trophy's!! Bill and I had a great time and enjoyed you guys company. Went down to the Dream Cruise Wed. night, was it crowded! It rained Sat. until about 3 o'clock so I stayed home. I'll keep in touch, say hi to Chris and the girls. Ron....

Congrats Gary, Weather was terrible all day, ended up going to the open house at the Harley dealer. Planning on going to Stanton Sat. for the muscle car drags. Ron.....

I went on Saturday to Milan, weather was decent, only got a few raindrops. Decent turnout of cars. Drag racing was great. Swap meet was fair. Hardly any parts vendors there. Been to the show at Indy before, and this was no Indy.
A little pricey to get in I thought at $22 for one day.
Next year they said it will be the last weekend of July I believe.

Oh Great that is the weekend of the Telegraph Cruise! They should go back to the Martin Mi schedule. Vendors! Why should anyone want to vendor in Michigan with this sucky economy. I went to Washtenaw Community College yesterday (10-01-06) and ther were 7 vendors total and a lot of lookers.
