http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1973-chevrolet-nova-ss_W0QQitemZ250084356101QQihZ015QQcategoryZ6172QQr dZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Hey, thanks for the heads up. Freakin' scammer on ebay! I sent him a nasty note and instructed him to remove my car immediately. I also contacted ebay about this fraud. Bidding at $8900 so far ... hmmm .. no way! My car is not for sale.

Father and Son project. We just bought this in Nov. Pulled the engine out already. Gonna clean her up good. Might be looking for help when we change some parts out and put the engine back in.

I'd remove that front grill when pulling/installing a motor .... one wrong shift and CRACK!, and those grills are damn near impossible to find .... unless you have a ton of money and go on ebay : )

1973 Nova SS Here. I am the original owner, ordering the car early April of 73. Received the car at the end of April just before my 21st birthday. Best present I ever got. Drove the car a total of 168,000 street and strip miles before taking it off the street. It now is a Super Pro drag car with a 355 aluminum headed roller motor and p/g transmission. Also full chromemoly 14 point cage, 4 link rear suspension and 4.86 geared 9 inch rear end. The front end is removable fiberglass with a 6" cowl lift off hood. Glass bumpers, still 73-74 style, and trunk lid. It has a full aluminum interior with removable trans tunnel, drive shaft tunnel, and panel ahead of rear axle between the fiberglass tubs and lexan windows. Just did a total do over of cage, windows, engine on motor plates moved back 9". Converted to pinto rack and pinion steering with Global West upper A-arms to lay back the spindles an extra 6 degrees. All done at home with the help of a very good friend who is a master fabricator. I myself am a marginally good assistant. So far a best et of 6.55 @ 103.72 MPH in the 1/8 mile. Haven't had it on a good set of scales but on the old scales at the farm it weighed 2430 lbs. I live outside of Cicero In. When I get faster internet I will have pictures.

Hello out there! I've had my 74 H/B since 85, I'm it's second owner. It is Gobi Beige(I think) and it came with the optional Tent. It was originally a 250/3 on the tree(manual) car with no A/C and no P/s but it did come with power D/B, an odd combo. Was a parchment color bench seat interior, but I have changed it to buckets(that need repro covers) w/ console in Black perforated grain Vinyl deluxe interior. It now has a 350/4bbl with a Muncie 4 speed with a Hurst shifter, large flywheel and Centerforce clutch. I did all mods with factory parts from the junkyard and tried to do it as the factory did, changing from column shift 3 speed to a 4 speed w/ console was a challenge! I have yet to install the F-41 rear sway bar mounts that are to be welded to the underside of the floor pan.
I have lots of experience with the 73-4 Novas and don't mind answering questions about what I have found out about them.feel free to Email me uncdad@comcast.net I don't get on this site often enough to respond to private messages in a timely manner.
