I really hate when this happens... as I stated before I intend on keeping my car for now. So I start looking around for parts and what not, came across an ad in the bargain finder for a 63 chevy II wagon in saskatchewan... so I call the ad talk to the guy, find out it was sold to a guy in town he knows... that guy was merely taking the drivetrain out and putting it into his convertable (62 nova i think) He gives my name and number to this other fellow and I speak to him. Looks like he would be willing to sell the rolling shell of this wagon. From what I have gathered its in fairly decent shape, some rust near the rear (sounds like what my sedan has), small hole in the headliner (same as my sedan)... so the amount of work to be done on it would be roughly the same was restoring my sedan. Personally, I'm a wagon person, I own 2 white Subaru wagons currently and wouldnt you know this 63 wagon is white as well :) I hope to have some pictures of it soon, I sent the new owner my info in an email the other day. My plan would be to take my 327 out of my sedan and toss it into the wagon and either store / sell my sedan as a shell.
So after that ramble... What is a fair price for a rolling wagon shell? Saying its in fairly decent body condition, good interior, and solid frame.
