i knew somone would recomend calvert monos for the street..lol

do they really handle good?? or are they meant for straight line?

They aren't a "pro touring" spring but they handle well for street use and general driving.

You can also try a landrum if you'd like but the calvert is a better spring.

interesting, ive just never had any luck with a nice ride out of a mono..either real stiff or real soft..guess it pays to pick out a matching set form calvert..

doesnt affco make a nice spring?

I have found some 5 leaf muti leaf springs at the junk yard on a 73-74 4 door nova.I plan on getting them and putting new bushings in and putting them in my 70.Should I take 2 leafs off or leaf them alone.:confused: :confused:

I think that would depend on the manufacturer-they make them to raise, to lower, to stiffen.................Calvert's Split Mono's can be purchased in stock, higher, or lower--it depends on what you want to do.

I had 5 leaf springs first..pretty stiff ride. Removed one and pretty good now!
