Just ordered mine from Classic Nova (Walt) he had a complete set in stock (last lower arm Kit):D and he's sending it out today and should have it in 4 days. He still has a few upper arm kits in stock if anybody needs one.

Do you think there's enough clearance on the inside of the lower control arm mounting tabs to let the control arms fit properly after they've got a second coat of powdercoating??

I've heard the fit is a bit tight, but I too don't want to leave the kit silver, so I have considered painting or powdercoating mine too.

well before they can powder coat it don't the have to sandblast it back to bare metal. Just my understanding of the process.

Yes- the part will have to be stripped to bare metal.

And the bushings removed unless they can stand the 425 degree heat.

I think I see some scotch brite and a rattle car or two in my near future based upon the feedback about powdercoating.

I got a response from NNN today when I asked about when to expect my upper control arm kit I ordered 4 weeks ago....

The upper kit is on back order for about three weeks yet. Thanks NNN

It's a good/bad thing that these kits are so darn popular.

I say PC is the way to go. I just had my entire TCI rear 4-link done in flat black for 300 bucks. Couldn't be more than 50 to have some a arms done including the blasting and will hold up much better.

I have looked over all the threads, and I did not see how anyone handled the upper ball joint locking nut problem. I located 2 castle nuts from work and put them on the ball joint off the contol arm and it still didn't make the cotter key hole visible. I am not to happy with the two lock nuts they give you. They don't lock very well. I have seen beeter lock nuts than them. What are you guys using?
