I think I read somewhere that there are 2 sizes for the hole on the idle arm at the idler bracket because the cups wont press in. I think I read 1" and 1.125". Is there any issue with having a machine shop drill it to the right specs?

You are correct, the new style is 1 1/8'' and the Original style has a 1 1/4" hole.

I would assume a Machine shop could do it, but haven't heard of anyone here say they have done it?!

If you do it, let us know !!
