and,.............. I ordered the full mini subframe kit. I am going to be also getting their four wheel disk brake kit. Now, I asked about wheel fitment and was told that even with their drop spindles I could only get a 4" max backspaced wheel. I would like some 16X7 or 17X7 wheels. I am sure that I've read numerous times that I'd need 4.5" BS to fit the front without rubbing with about a 205/50/16or 17. I'm hoping the rear isnt an issure. I definitely need a wider tire back there because with the 205/60/14's on it there is nowhere near enough tire to keep the tires from spinning VERY easily. So, will my fronts fit and rear fit?

Sorry:edit: I have a 64 hardtop

I hope this helps. I bought my disc brakes from CPP on my 64 also, but did not buy the dropped spindles. I have lowered my car about 2 1/2 inches from stock by cutting the springs. My front tires are 215 40R/17 . My rears are 235 40R/18. All the wheels are 7" wide on 4 1/2" back space. My fronts are within 1/2" of the fender. and the rears took a little massaging in the wheel well area but not much. I hope this helps.
