Actually, I sent an email asking where to send my check. I rec'd a response back stating that paypal was the best avenue as he would not have access to a bank for 6 months.

Do we have someone who can take checks,money orders,etc while Steve is away and make paypal transactions for those members who want to contribute to the site? I think we have very trustworthy folks on this site and I wouldn't think twice about sending funds to one of our Moderators if I didn't use internet banking processes like Paypal. It's still A scary thing for lots of folks.

while i was on duty as a Moderator, i was unaware that Steve had any provisions for this... since i retired maybe it's different (i doubt it) maybe a Mod can answer this or if Steve pops in... he has been in off and on, but there's no tellin' fer sure right now.

I also need to make a donation as I use this place quite a lot these days. I also don't do PayPal, but can send a money order, check, etc to whomever. Is there a suggested annual donation, or should we just contribute as we're so moved?

I think I pay payed about 20 or 50 dollars a couple of times. Probably due again but it is whatever you feel like giving. I don't think there is a set amount.

I can post this in the moderator section for you. If Steve would be ok with a mod making paypal payments for members I would be willing to do it.
