hello everyone i have been lookin at suspensions for the nova at the moment i have 650 lb front springs poly bushings kyb gas adjust shocks stock sway bar running 245/40/18 front 275/40/18 on back rear springs are 250# multi leafs with kyb shocks other then that its stock :D what im wondering about is a lot of stuff they dont list past 72 for and i have a 74 i was under the impression that the subframes were the same i ordered the guldstrand catalog with the templates to re drill the mounting points for the control arm but i caint seem to find anywhere saying that this will work on my 74 i
is that just how they list things or is there actually a difference in the subframe also this is my daily driver and i just spent 4 grand on a trans so nothing to crazy just get it to maybe pull .90 on a skid pad and id be happy....for a while what else do i need to do.
thanks a lot you guys always know whats up
oh yea and what alignment settings should i use for the front

If it'll fit a 72 it will work on a 74. I have a 73 subframe under my 72. Very little differences to worry about. Main diff is where the front bumper mount holes are in the frame.

This is correct from what I have seen as I'm putting a 74 subframe under my 72 also. By the way 1quik69 how did you go about making the front bumper work?

Gloryhound, I did this about 6-7 years ago, but as I remember i installed the filler plate, then just mounted the bumper in the furthest to the front bumper mount holes. I got the bumper level/parallel them marked the subframe for the rear bumper mount holes. I marked them through the bumper bracket. Then I just drilled holes through the frame. It was actually pretty easy once I got going. If you have some of the 5mph stuff just throw it away and use only the 72 brackets etc.
