i was wondering which is better? which will give you the best traction? have been told that multi leaf is better. i know i will have to purchase some type of traction device. just want to know if i need to start looking for multi leafs. the car currently has monos right now.

Not sure what year you have, but on my 64 the multi leaves cut down on the inside tire clearance by about a 1/4" which can make a big difference. The mono leaf width tappers and the multi leaf is straight cut.

Some traction systems set up's can't be used with multi leaf springs and vise versa on mono's...Phil

I went from mono's to multi's and now Calvert Split Monos--won't be making anymore changes now.......although I know a guy who uses the composite Astro van springs on a few Super Stock cars that work really well!

Well, before I hurt the good engine I won 3 wheelstand contests.
So far, I'm real happy with them, I just wish I still had the power to do wheelies!! Tomorrow will be the first time back at the track in a few months.
Just hoping for some 7 sec. 1/8mi. passes, where I used to be looking for high 5/low 6 sec. times!
