My company is currently working on drawings of a third gen. nova for a customer locally to be cut out of 12 ga. steel to be displayed with his 70 SS at car shows. The customer is painting it to match his car. Would there be anyone interested in a copy for themselves. It's easier to cut 10 at once than just one. I'm not advertising the sale of my product, but offering the service while I'm already cutting. We will be cutting on the weekend. PM me if there is any interested parties.

Sounds interesting. Are you talking about a suillouette(sp?) If you had some sort of image to give us an idea of what it would look like, size etc.

Yes it is a silhoutte, the price would be $90.00 Canadian + shipping. The finished size is 13.5" x 24"

The price can be reduced on mutiple orders, but the shipping price would increase because of the weight.
Each piece weighs about 8 pounds.

Here's one I got off of eBay. Cut out of steel and painted black. I assume it will look something like this?

Yes Danno it is similar to the one you have, just a different angle. The picture can be seen on my webshots page:

OK, what exactly is cut out. Please bear with me, I am a little slow. Is the shape of the cut out the shape of the car? Or are the lines of the drawing cut out of the metal? Am I making sense, or have I missed the boat completely?

It's ok Doug it does take a while to catch on to interpreting the line drawings and seeing what exactly is cut and what is not.
QUOTE;

Yes the outline is the shape of the car The only things that are actualy cut out (removed) are the headlights, holes in the bumper, vents in the hood, the SS in the grill, side marker light and the hood lines, the rest of the lines are cut but they are not connected together so they show the contours and outlines of the signal lights, windows, rims, doors and hubcaps. I hope that I have explained it enough for you.
