4-door question

I was wondering if the underside of the 2 and for 4-door were the same like the wheel base and stuff. I want to get the 4-link/subframe kit from Heidts but dont know if it will fit a 4-door.

Anyone know if the 4-link kits work on the wagons? I figured the floor pans and everything would be the same up till the rearend.

Seems like I remember one of the wagon guys saying the floor has some different bracing or something, now that I think about it maybe it was a drop top guy that said that? Oh shoot I'm not adding anything of value here. Can't help ya for sure man someone will have your answer though.

if ya look in catalogs, IF there was a difference in product, they'd have an exclusion notation...

and there's not... so they're the same, yes ???

I just dident want to assume anything and order it and have it not work on my car, so I thought I would see if anyone knew for a fact it would work:cool:

there's a link for Heidt's in the "Web-Link Library"... give Heidt's a call... good fer tech info too... in case ya have any technical questions on install prior to purchasing.

i have a front clip from them and have called 'em a couple times... OK guys ta talk to ;)

HEY !!! a question... ya say yer gonna front & rear clip yer car... that's a bit of work... but too much work ta cut the floor a little for a TKO500 OD tranny ??? i'm a "Rotten" guy ya know... so i'm gonna bag on ya a little OK ???

The only differance between a 2 door sedan and a 4 door are how the doors and quarters fit and meet.

Otherwise every other dimension are the same. Roof, rocker length, wheel base, fenders, even the drip rails are the same. Length from headlight to tail light are identical.

Your wife! Oh man, you callin me a girl:confused: :confused: :eek: :D I'm about 99.9999% positive someone with a convert posted that his had some extra reinforcements on the subframe and he had to modify a bolt in 4-link for it to fit.

Wheel base is the same for all models. The only diffference I know of is the extra bracing used on the convertible models.

Johnny thanks for the input:p idunno if I wanna cut the floor :eek: lol I just cant weld very well and I will prob pay a firend of mine to weld up the rearend to the 4-link and all that stuff, but I figured everything else would prob be bolt it.
