2 68's on cover of NNN

I was rereading (I have way to much time these days) the April 06 issue of NNN Magazine and was wondering if the owner of the 2 68's (Chris Teed) is A member of the site. Does anyone know him? I'd like to see more of his cars, his grotto blue car looks to have the same interior as mine does (except his is actually in the car:o ).

Hey Dan, One is A 350/295 4 sp 12 bolt 4.10 gear car matador red with black buckets and the exterior trim package. The other is A 396/350 with Th400 and is A grotto blue bench seat car. Both are very nice. NNN may have A picture on the site somewhere, not sure.

A th400 is a 68? Was that tranny widely avialable in '68? I thought what made the Gibb cars COPO's was the fact they had the th400 tranny in them? Or was it cause they had the 375HP 396 AND the th400???:confused:

The 68 BB car is the real deal....Chris got the car from Wayne Bushey. I believe it was originally from CA. It is one of only 48 TH400 L-34 Novas built in 68. Not sure how many were column shift with blue interior, but it has to be very rare. Car is all #'s matching, docs and really nice. Chris brought it to the Mini-Nats in Orlando in March. He runs it at the strip and it turns in the 13's on Polyglass tires....I think there was an article in Nova Times about both these cars.
