nova picsnovanut72 7th-August-2006, 02:58 AM I hope this works!http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n150/novanut72/DSC00378.jpghttp://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n150/novanut72/2748bb6b.jpg maneyac71 7th-August-2006, 03:01 AM lmao was doing just the same thing earlier (hope this works...):D nice looking nova btw novanut72 7th-August-2006, 03:04 AM I went to the track last weekend and, when I got back I wanted to see if it would hook on the street! I left these marks when I hit the 100 shot from a dead stop with 26x11.5x15 Hoosier Quick Time Pros on the car! I don't think its hookin at all!http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n150/novanut72/be3b201c.jpg maneyac71 7th-August-2006, 03:06 AM what makes you think its not hooking up?lol did you do a burn out before or just go for it? novanut72 7th-August-2006, 03:13 AM I stalled the car up to 2600 rpms and then just nailed it to the floor. Its got a 3000 converter in it with a 4.11 gear and those 26x 11.5 hoosiers on it. I have gottena 1.62 60 foot on just a 75 shot. Last weekend I pulle a 1.78 on the motor and wit the 100 shot it only cut a 1.75 60 foot; it was 97 degrees that day so the track just wouldn't hook. novascorcher 7th-August-2006, 04:06 AM nice car ! looks like a 73 or74 nova front airdam u have on there or 67-69 camaro what did your car run in the 1/4 ? dksdust 7th-August-2006, 09:22 AM Nice lookin car . But what happened to the top of the fan shroud ? novanut72 7th-August-2006, 01:43 PM In regards to the fan shroud when I first got the car it had a broken engine mount and when it wuhld torque over the fan would hit the shroud. It was a solid steel fan. The front air dam is off of a 69 camaro. I'm thinking about changing it to one like dkdust has on his. any thoughtson what I should do. novanut72 7th-August-2006, 05:13 PM Here is a recent pic of the enginehttp://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n150/novanut72/12c2e2e5.jpg maneyac71 7th-August-2006, 09:29 PM read somewhere else in 3rd gen (airdam 3" or 4")that someone using one gained some m.p.h. just a thought novanut72 8th-August-2006, 09:59 PM I'v been thinking of ordering one from him. I think they look realy good. chevynova69 21st-August-2006, 11:22 AM clean nova man!! 73_250Nova 24th-August-2006, 01:23 PM Sweet ride! Like the color. Also love the burnout marks. :chev: :D novanut72 26th-August-2006, 09:40 PM Thanks for all the compliments! I wish the car was all that color again. I have been doing body work to it I just finished the passenger side quarter pannel. On thursday night a nine year old girl on one of those electric scooter things lost control and slamed into the back of the car. Needless to say the rear bumper was off n she dented the tail light bezle and rear panned she also bent the flange where the rubber gasket goes. It is all repairable though. | |
