This is for you St.Louis guys.
I was in St.Louis last weekend and on the way up I noticed that Wise speed shop is no longer in the new shop that they built on 55 south.
Have they closed or moved?
I still have a couple of old t-shirts from about 1970-71 that I got we we used to do a lot of street racing on Hall street years ago.
The shirts are too small now, must have shrunk them from the washer.I know that I haven't gotten any fatter!HaHA

They have been on Hampton Ave as long as I can remember. Did they move at some point?

Since I don't live in St.Louis ,I'm not sure what the story Is.I just assumed that they have moved to down to 55 south since they had built a large shop off the interstate down in the Arnold area a few years ago.Maybe this was a additional shop or something. However it's not there anymore.I had just guessed that they had moved from their Hampton location.Guess I was wrong!

I wondered I was there today and it was the same place it was in 1988 when I first went to it. They tried the Summit, Jegs mail order thing for a while, I guess it never panned out. Maybe it was from that.

I was just down there the Monday before last talking with Gina and she didn't mention anything about closing. Her and I were talking about how to recover the windows with the decals you see on the Bi-state busses locally with it going over the glass but with the small holes in it to where you can still see through the windows but from a distance it looks like it doesn't have holes.
I have to go to Pee-Wee's shop across the street this week for some trailer tires and I'll look and see what's up.
I wonder, did you look at the right spot ?. There used to be Larry Lampert and another speed shop called Perfomance something or other within a few blocks of each other on Hampton.
