hey y'all... i've never owned a Nova, but i'm talkin' with a guy about buying his '68 4 door. gotta be honest, haven't seen a lot of 4-door Nova's. looks to be in pretty good shape. it just struck me as odd is all.

any insight on the diff's between the 2dr and 4dr - OTHER than the obvious? heh

thanks!

Alot of the interior trim will be different like the B-pillars and the door panels and arm rests. Then of course, your outside trim.

THe 4-door is taller than a 2-door so the windshield and back window are different as well as the trim around them.

One thing to think about is if this car is not largely complete and will need a lot of parts to make it complete the '68 Nova is, even though it looks roughly like the 69-72 Nova, a one year only car and there are literally 100's of parts on that car which were only used on '68. Restoring the '68 will cost you more then restoring a '69 even if both started in the exact same condition. Just my 2 cents.:)

BTW welcome to the site

thanks for the input. i guess i was just curious as to the value of the 4 door vs. the 2 door, what the general consensus is when you get to the show level... etc. are the 4 doors as covetted as the 2? does it matter?
