Hello,
I was just wondering if there might be some interest in resurrecting the Fall Foliage tour this year. Stephany and I really enjoyed our trip 2 years ago, and were wondering if there was any interest on taking another run.

That was a lot of fun. As you probably know, Paul, Jim has sold his Nova, and I don't know the status of Denis Petit. I may not be able to make it this year, as my work schedule is eating up all my weekends right through September, and we're heading out West for the month of October. As I recall, we didn't seem to be able to attract many guys the last time. It's too bad, because it would have been nice to have made it an annual thing, and maybe attract more participants.

Can I follow along with my Kubota? That first (and only) Fall Foliage Ride was great. I miss my Nova a bit, but made the right decision for the time being.
Paul...hope all is well with you and Steph. Any little ones on the way yet? Tell her that Marianne says "hi".
Brick....you're way too busy for a retired guy!!! Going out west for a month, huh? Looking at real estate?
Patman...we still have that nice picture you took of my car at Sunapee. Did you get down to the Budweiser Plant yesterday for the show? The guy that bought my Nova had his Chevelle drop top down there and won first place in his division.
Petit is probably too busy riding his Harley to do an Nova cruising:rolleyes: .
MK70SS...I sent you a PM the other day, but I guess it fell through the cracks somewhere. You're in good company with this group...you'll have a few laughs and learn a lot!!
Catch you guys on the rebound.

Hey Jim, nice to hear from you. How fast will that Kubota go? I've got some extra Nova badges, and we could re-tag that tractor!:D We're just going on vacation, and not actively looking for properety, but my son and daughter-in-law may fly out and meet us, as they are looking in the Colorado area for a home, and would like Jeanne and I to live with them. We're not sure of what we want to do yet. We have potential buyer for the business, and until that's settled, we will probably stay put. We enjoyed our 1st (and only) annual fall foliage cruise, and hopefully they'll be some interest again in the future when I'm really "retired!" and maybe you can use the Kubota or whatever your driving and come also. Say hello to Marianne for us.

Hey Jim, you didn't happen to pull that motor and tranny before you sold it --did you?? I wouldn't mind having that combination in Novalty. :D Hope the tractor is treating you well. Tell Marianne that Steph and I said "Hi" too. Things are going pretty well with us. Our house is coming along slowly. We have our foundation for the house and garage, and the well just went in last week. Should have some framing going up in a couple weeks.
Bill enjoy your month away--you gonna take the Nova with you for some mid-west cruising??
For those interested in a cruise, I have a friend with a '71 that I might get to make a run around Lake Winni in NH. Will have to contact him and see if he might be up for a cruise. Let me know if any dates are good to get a cruise together.

Jim - you've got a Kubova now, huh? Oh well...what you need is a new project! You should buy another Nova to build up...
I have not been paying very good attention to the car show schedule this year, I haven't made it to a single thing. The good news is that I've been spending time on the Nova, and it's inspected and back on the road again (at least for the short trips I've done with it so far...) I still have a few bugs to work out, but...it's getting there. I put in the CPP lower arm kit, and that has definitely made a difference in the alignment and handling. Waiting on an idler arm rebuild kit now... The new engine is still in the basement, awaiting more money, parts, and time.
I'd be interested in a loop of the lake, one way or another!
