Hey thats coming out great!
What kind of paint are you using for the lettering?
How are you applying it on?

I used a testor model paint pen for the letters.
Bright silver. Although the original was chrome this is a close second. The pictures make it look white to gray. In real life it looks silver.
I painted the dash with SEM plastic/vinyl dye. It turned out awesome.
You need 4 different cans prep, primer, color, clear. Cost about 40.00 bucks total.
I have the part numbers if anybody wants to do this.
I also did my kick panels and they turned out just as nice. They were brown and now they are black. And look like new.
And I couldn't wait so I put the dash cluster together. and updated the site again.

That came out really nice. I used the Sem products plastic/vinyl paint and the paint pen also when I did mine. Those paint pens are one of the better inventions that have come along in recent years.

RallyNova, you have done a fantastic job on the restoration. I really like the way the paint stands out and the attention to the detail on the sub frame. The dash is great and I’ll bet you can’t wait to see it at night.
I do have a question though, you sprayed a clear coat on the dash, is that like a satin finish?……..close to original I guess

Yes it is a semi gloss I didn't want it really shiney. But not flat either.
I ordered the numbers on the dash to be green also.
Zach I would be more than happy to. I had 2 dashes and I tested the one before I did the other. SO I am ready HEHE
