I have to agree, that it was worth it!!! The car looks great!!! You did it in onyy 3 years?? I'll be lucky if I am putting mine back together in 3 years!!

That is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL ride! I love the color ... would have painted mine something close to that except my daughter help out for Gekko Green and camel interior. Beautiful ride!! Well Done!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also like the torquethrusts....am planning those for my ride if I can afford them when I get to that stage!

Yes Dave, all of the seats have been recovered and look great. The material was from Classic Industries and the lady that did them for me said that she had no problems with the material. The seats were no in bad shape to start. The driver's had a couple of tears and that was it, but decided to just get them all done and not have to deal with it later. By the way, I payed $140 for the buckets and they were in nice condition 3 years ago and look how much they are going for now, $1100 and $1200 and they will need to be redone. Thanks.

Only 3 years, man you're fast. It took me almost 8 yrs to finish my wifes 72. Now I am finally working on my 69. Hopefully it will be finished in a year or less. By the way, your car looks good. It's good to have another Nova on the road again.:beer:

I don't know the exact color. I should, everyone is asking. The paint code is from a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix and the brand of paint that was used was Lesanol, which is made by Sikkens. Thanks.

One question regarding the steering wheel.... what parts (besides the wheel) did you need to mount it to the column and get the horn to work?

I have a spare steering wheel like that, but nothing else.

No, it is rubber with the finger grips. Its super nice. I bought it on ebay for $180 and it came complete. The wheel and hub. Not separate like how some people sell them. $200 for the wheel and $40 for the hub. It pays to look around and find a better deal. Thanks.
