3 inch exhaust

Does anyone make a full 3 inch kit for a 70? I would like to go with flowmasters with 40 series mufflers but I couldnt seem to find anything on there web site:confused: Is there any other exhaust makes that anyone would recomend?

I bought one of thier 2 and 1/2" systems. Nice stuff. They have 3' systems.

Jegs has a 3" kit that is fully mandrel bent that should fit...it doesnt have mufflers or X pipes but the price is pretty good and they do offer the X pipes too....just a thought:)

I used the Jegs kit. Worked pretty well. There was some clearance issues in the rear where it crossed over the frame. But that depends on the wheel/tire combo. I've got that space maxed out with tire.

Go to torque tech. I have there 3" w/tail pipes on my 69. Awesome customer service and tech knowlage. There was an article in one of the mags I read on them a while back. They have it posted on there web site too!:D

the flowmaster kit is part number 17201, summit sells them, looks like a nice steup. somewhere cant remember the link but a guy got the kit and installed it with some great pics of the process. the kit is for the 69 camaro i think but its the same for the novas..

Unless they just started making them. Flowmaster didn't make a 3" for a 3rd gen Nova.:eek: Thant's why I went Torque Tech.

im not sure how long they have been out now. they are listed at summit under muscle car exhaust kits. like i said i think it list for the 67-69 camaro but its the same fit for the 3rd gen novas.

I have the torque tech 3" on my wifes 72 Nova. It sounds awesome. It came with dymomax mufflers. The tailpipes would not clear where they went over the axle. We had moved the shocks inboard and have pretty well filled up the wheel well. We ended up just having dumps put on so they exit right behind the axle. The kit we bought was actually a camaro kit as they didn't list a nova kit when we bought it about 7 years ago. The car has a nasty sound to it and my wife says it is fairly loud when you get on it hard. I believe they were called Torque Thrust when we bought our kit. They are out of Valdosta Ga. They gave us a choice of mufflers when we bought the kit. Their customer service is great.

Magnaflow now sells a 3" for 68-74. They sound great and they are stainless
