Cross posted in Drag Racing forum also.

I recently purchased a 66 Nova SS that had been used as a drag car in early 70's then put away in storage for 25 years and brought out and "streeted" around 5 years ago. The car was campaigned in the early 70's by someone with the first name of Larry something, as that was on the car when brought out of storage. I am trying to find some history on the car as I cannot find the "Larry" who originally had the car. It ran a 301 small block with 2 fours on a ram manifold with a 4 speed back then. The car was painted white/red/blue similair to flag sceme. It was mini tubbed, glass bumpers, with a full roll cage and narrowed 12 bolt. Whoever built the car back then did an awesome job, as many of the chassis items were very trick for that era. Anyone in the Mpls. area know anything about this car as it was raced at the drag strips in that area, ie: Twin City, Minnesota, Northstar.

Current of photo of car in street trim:

There is a local historian working on MN drag ways history. He may have some info on your car. Send me a PM for his contact info. Earl
