Turbo mufflers

I posted this same question in Drivetrain/Performance but couldn't get any response. So I'll ask the guys who have 3rd gen. cars, I trying to find out how to position my turbo mufflers in my '72 with a 350 sbc, headers with 18" collectors. Should they be offset/offset, offset/center, or what?? I have seen some posted pics of 3rd gen cars but can't remember how they had the mufflers positioned. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a sbc with headers & 3" exhaust ran on my 70 and the mufflers are offset / offset.

Summit and Jegs has kits that are offset in, center out. My old set up was offset in offset out. If you have a muffler shop bend you something either configuration muffler would probably work.

My 2-1/2" exhaust is offset in/center out.

Thanks guys, I have a local supplier who has the offset/offset in stock, it seems to me that I've seen the exhaust running pretty close to the driveshaft, which would refer to the offset/offset. Thanks again, JD
