What a great weekend!! Sunshine & 2500+ beautiful cars!! Hooked up with Roy & hi bride Gail (Roysnova from Nanaimo) and he asked "Why don't more of my friends come to these events??" I replied "Generally, they're just a bunch of wusssies who won't drive their cars too far (around the block to get gas, if it isn't raining!!!)" ......... seriously, I don't know anyone else here that likes roadtrips??? So far, we have 3500 wonderful miles on the Cloner, met tons of really great people and have seen some nice towns & super rides!!!

This was the 1st year for 65-72 cars at this event. They had a Canadian Corral ( where Roy hung out for protection!!) & a Mighty Muscle catagory which Jim & I both entered.. his Yenko got a lot of attention!! The winner was
........ another great Canadian...... Richard from Hod Rods & Classics in Chilliwack (where I get all my restoration goodies) "Mighty Muscle Winner": 427 & a 6-spd!!

Got a visit from CRAZYJAKE out of Sedro-Wooley, but we were out looking at cars or in the beer garden!! Also, none of the NWM club were there... All 6 of them were at a meeting!!!!:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

great show as usual. nice to see some muscle cars there too . never seen so many hemi mopars in one place dont know where all the novas where . seen some nice ones though it is a street rod meet a few muscle cars were nice

I loaded mine to the computer, deleted the memory card, went to look at them later & there they were....gone.
It was a really fun weekend. About ten cars from Nanaimo hooked up with another 10 from Port Alberni at the ferry terminal. At one point, travelling I-5. there were 15 B.C. Rods & Muscle Cars together. Impressive sight.
It was nice to see the Ric & Sharon and Jim & Ladonna. ........That Yenko is in Super condition. (Jim says the value makes him a little nervous driving it.) Which I can understand. The car's insured but if it's destroyed, we all lose.
We've been at the Goodguys Show for th past 5 or 6 years. Opening the grounds to pre 72 was a good move. There was a nice mix of Rods & Muscle. All really well done.
ME reading a F*** catalogue.....not on your life.......Got a fun reaction from the photographer tho.
