A kit would be the easiest way but being in Canada the shipping, echange and so on will kill ya.
For a scrounge your own setup; you'll need to get a set of spindles and steering arms from a 64-67 chevy II or Acadian. The 62-63's use smaller bearings so they are not compatible with the bearings needed for the rotors.
If you locate a donor car take the lower control arms as well; the 62-63's have relocated steering bump stops and if not replaced or modified will limit your turning radius.
You'll need caliper mounting brackets; gm "X" and "A" bodies are likely donors but hard to find in the yards. You can buy them aftermarket for around $80 US.
You'll also need a proportioning valve; just about any gm with non abs brakes should work. Probably can be bought through gm dealer.
THe rest can be bought from Canadian Tire, NAPA etc. Shop around for rotors; last time I checked NAPA had the best deal... about $50 each.
I think when I bought parts, I asked for 72 chevelle rotors, calipers, hoses and m/c.
I've got a disc setup sitting on the garage floor but as far as i know it's spoken for; I may be able to get you a set of spindles if you're not in a hurry.
WHere in Canada are you?

jamie2,
Yeah, what shawn63 said! He and I did our disc conversion at the same time. We purchased the caliper mounting brackets together to save on shipping (OUCH!) He was ahead of me and did all of the legwork for parts.
We went with 72 Chevelle rotors, brg.s etc., but went with 72 Nova flex hoses as they are a couple inches longer and give enough slack for suspension hang when up on a jack or blocks.

Good memory Paul; I always forget what hoses I used.

Good memory.......Not really.
I can't even remember what I had for breakfast......wait a second, did I even eat breakfast??
I have all of that information on file. Even retrieving some of the information takes time as I can't remember the files that all of the crap I have been keeping track of are in. If this computer ever gives up I'm in deep doo-doo. You think I would have learned when I lost a large portion of my final technical report in college due to not backing up.
