Is it just mine or does everyone have the same condition on their Nova's???? the left or drivers side rear wheel well has way more clearance then the right side. Is it just mine or does everyone have that condition.

Typical diff offset, not all Novas suffer from the same amount, most noticeable when trying to fit tire/rim combos that have been known to fit one car but not the other.

Greetings,
That's why you must measure, measure, measure before doing a wheel/tire swap. My Nova is the same way. Welcome to the club!

My Nova was almost perfectly centered; A 69 Camaro I owned many years ago was almost 1 1/2" offset!

Every third gen I have owned or worked on has a different offset on the left and right rear. You can correct it but it is somewhat labor intensive.
While we are on the subject, I have seen a few third gens with a mystery noise in the right rear that drove the owner crazy. This is usually caused by the upper shock mount not being square with the mounting plate on the body. This will cause a gap between the shock and the body on one side that is clearly visible. Just remove the 5/16-18 bolt on the offending side, insert a 5/16 flat washer between the shock mount and body and reinstall the bolt. Problem solved.

Mines the oposite. The left side is rubbing :(. I just slapped on some mag rims and to figure out if they were rubbing, i sprayed the wheel wells with white paint and took it for a drive. To my dismay, they were rubbing. Not by much but enough to irritate me.

yes, measure, measure. I put 235/60/15 all around and they rubbed, so I am having 225/60/15 installed tomorrow, no charge as the "tire experts" said they would not rub  We will see
