Need a rechrome company in Chicago area

I have an excellent front bumper for my 1970 that just needs rechroming. Has anybody had a good experience with a company in the Chicago area?

Don't know if they do show chrome but I couldn't resist. Call and ask. I will ask around my circle of friends tomorrow.

If you're looking to make a drive...Gateway Plating in St. Louis does great work and is VERY reasonable in price. They did both of my bumpers on my '73 for $400.

It's been several years ago when I was doing AMC resto's and there was a vendor from the hobby many used in Chicago area called 'The Finishing Touch'.
They weren't cheap but well worth money spent.
Might try them....if they're still around.
