Thought I'd take a moment to intruduce myself and my Nova. If any of you have been around the SoCal show circuit recently then we've probably said hello. I've attached a couple pics for you guys to critique. Looking forward to joining in a discussion or two.

Take care, Jeff

Hi gents. I remember the wagon well. Donut shop might be a possibility since I'm looking for an event somewhere.

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone.

Chuck, It's changed quite a bit from last year. New motor, full manual reverse TH400 with a brake, and a new fuel cell with a pump that can keep up with the new motor. Next time you see me stop over and I'll give you a tour.

The Claremont "Village Grill" cruise nights are the second Saturday of every month. If any of you haven't been you should make a point of coming over. It's a very nice place with great places to eat/drink. They also give out "top 20" trophies which adds some excitement.

Jeff. . . . .SMOKE'IN HOT car man! Welcome to the brotherhood!:) I just bought a 6" cowl hood for my 63 and need to have it paint matched to the car, I live in Alta Loma (we're kinda neighbors), any paint shops you recommend close to our area?

Thanks!

Formula One Auto Body in San Gabriel. 626-287-5985. 401 Agostino Rd. 91776. Ask for Scott. Tell him you're a friend of mine. My best buddy has a machine shop across the street. They matched my paint which is a cranberry pearl. If I had to judge it they get a 99 out of 100. Wasn't cheap at five bills, but cheap isn't good and good isn't cheap! Color sanded it too!

Thanks Jeff for the info. I think I know just where they are, we moved from San Gabriel 3 years ago. Your right about good ain't cheap. Just bought and recieved the Chassisworks front end set up and it wasn't cheap but boy you can really see the quality and engineering involved. Glad now I paid the extra money.

One block South of Broadway, 1/2 mile east of San Gabriel Bl. Worth the drive IMO. Understands custom cars and needy/overprotective owners!

We lived one block east of Walnut Grove off of Broadway so we were real close. Sounds like they are right by the railroad tracks where the old Gale Banks facility was in that general area.
I have the front fenders off. . . . . .I could probably bring em a fender to match. My paint is not as complex as yours so should'nt be any big deal. How did you finish the underside of the hood? Any protection from the heat of the fenderwells?

Jeff- sorry to be slow in welcoming you to the site. My family and I had the pleasure of admiring your car at a Claremont show a couple month's back. Our laugh was how your car mysteriously set off any and all car alarms on the street. Good job, it had us laughing! Anyhow, welcome and great looking car. Dale

He had some black paint stuff that he used, looks good. I wanted to paint it (same color as the car) but he suggested not to and now I'm glad I didn't. No heat protection. Since I don't have inner fenderwells I get a lot of airflow.

Ya, it's a bit loud. What you heard was just idle, 7000 down right hurts! That is unless it was the time I was revving it and afterwards was politely told to not do that anymore...or not return.

Thanks for the welcome. Looking forward to meeting everyone on the 2nd. Let's hope it isn't as hot as today! 105 is BS!
