I made a very early cruise down this morning, only to find NOT ONE first or second genner. My heart sank.:( But all was not lost when Gil pulled in with his stellar blue Nova to save face for us Nova owners. Yea, whip me at the stake. I drove the black bomber. Ya gotta love the entertainment you get from people though. I had a guy swear up and down 'till he was going to pop a vein that I "glued" on the dash pad on my '56 because he's owned 13 of them and not one had a padded dash. Yea, okay. And I painstakingly patina'd and weathered it to make it look 50 years old too. It was an option, just not one that people much cared for back then. I'm hoping he made it home okay and did not have a coronary.;) Dale

Dale,
If I would've known you were going, I would have drove down and had a cup of coffee with you. Instead I went to the local "coffee cruise" over here.

Thats because there are so many East Coast rust buckets, there are not enough good quality cars/farm implements to fill up a large parking lot. Out here (God Bless California sunshine!) there are so many great cars you need to darn near spend the night to get a spot! Dave-- I think you just may have to buy a last minute plane ticket and high-tail it out here for a "guys weekend". Get-together on Sat. ,worlds biggest cruise on Sunday. Sept. is a slow month for the first week anyhow, right??;) :D

If I had some frequent flyer tickets, I'd be coming out there!
