I learned to drive in a 65 Beaumont almost 30 years ago, my son who received his "L" this past Thursday took the Beaumont out for the first time. Not sure who was more nervous, him or me. He wasn't nervous about driving but he was nervous about driving the Beaumont. Hey, couldn't let him learn on the family Ford. Must say he did great, better than I expected. Found a big empty parking lot and practiced away. Nothing like driving one of these classics! Im sure alot of you know where Im coming from when I say Im quite happy about passing the thrill along to him.

Ain't it great. Last summer my son wanted to go for a ride in my 69 chevelle (439 4speed 4.56 gears) . He had had his licence for about 1 month. I threw him the keys, He threw them back and said HELL NO. I couldn't stop laughing.:D
