hey guys I am a new guy here and I was wondering if any of ya'll know of someone that makes headders for a 4th gen, or know if there is another cars that will fit with a big block:rolleyes:. As it goes when I get home I am going to start to build a 454 for my 76.

Thanks,

I would say you'll have to get them custom made for a BB. You could try Summit, but my guess is with a BB something will have to be modified either way. With my 350, the headers just fit and they have to be installed from under the car.

With a BB being a few inches wider, I doubt you'll fit a set of headers in stock location. I could be wrong though, never actually tried it!

Headders for a second gen. Big Block Camaro should work.

Being a owner of a 1976 Nova and also having had a big block in it all you need is 74 back big block headers for a nova or camaro

Headers for a big block second gen Camaro will work fine, but you have to use the frame and engine mounts for a big block second gen Camaro as well.

I ordered a set of Hedman headers for my 77 Nova with a 454 through Summit. Fit just fine, the only place that might be a problem is if you have the A/C box on the fire wall.

74 and back BB Camaro/Nova works fine. 2nd gen Camaro BB headers work if you A) beat the crap out of the headers or B) use the BB frame mounts as previously mentioned.

Big block 4th gens are pretty normal around here:).

Kev (Hopefully my small block will run with 'em pretty soon:))
