Will a 1971-1972 (or other?) door panel will fit a 1979?

Hi,

I got a 2 door 1979 Chevy Nova Rally with a 350Cid. Since I can't find new door panels for that model on any cataloge, I'm wondering if the 1971-1972 that I saw on Classic Industries cataloge door panel (#N71901 on CI cataloge) will fit my car? will any other years fit the same door? I don't mind about being original ... just want something new that will look good and fit my car ;-)

sorry, but the only panels that will fit are 1975-79 panels.

of course other GM X-body panels ( same years ) will fit as well ( Omega,Ventura,etc).

Any good trim shop should be able to recover those if you have the worn originals for patterns - I know we could do them at the upholstery shop I now work at ( we don't officially do automotive, but I have a few side projects, lol ).

The Paddock has new door boards that are supposed to be already cut the correct size if you want to start from scratch.
