75 Nova "LN" 2 dr w/buckets what's it worth

My father N law just drove over and dropped off a 75 "LN" 2 door auto on the column with bucket seats. P/S,P/B no a/c. 1 owner...rust rear outer panels on both doors, under doors are clean,around windshield and back glass clean, floors are SOLID. Not 1 single crack in dash. Original brown with cream/beige painted roof. This car WAS the "old lady owned car" bought new here in SC . New tires. Upholstry (spelling???) is tattered, not destroyed by any means.

oh, 250L6 original and runs and drives slick,tight and smooth.

He bought it for us because of our love for cars..HOWEVER, late models (to me a 75 is a LATE model) do nothing for me.

what is something like this worth, I do not want it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please, do not say check ebay...nothing there except a stock v8 and a hot rodded piece

Not seeing the car, I would have to say $500 to $1000. at least, in my area of the country.

Maybe someone here at steve's is interested try the classified section.

it wont be worth a whole lot haveing some rust,but if you want to drive it to n.w.ind.ill buy it from ya,if price is right that is.4th gens are good cars you would have to drive one.mines super smooth and drives great,but thats me.

Being a 6'er, I usually see them sell in Atlanta area anywhere from $600 - $1000 depending on driveability, condition of the body and interior, and whether it has the paperwork to go with it. 9 times out of 10 if it has been sitting for any period of time, and with rusted quarters, it probably wouldn't bring top dollar.

4th Gens just aren't that big in the spotlight yet, but that doesn't keep me from loving them. I have 3 of them, and am always willing to take another if the price is right. I don't have a 75 yet, so that might be a nice addition to my collection.

I gave $800.00 bucks for mine. I think some where in the $600-$1000 range is reasonable. Hard to tell with out pictures.

lol. If it keeps it out of the scrap yard, on the road, and within my budget!

I guess technically you could say I have a 5, but 2 are 4dr parts cars that I was considering cutting in half and making an 8 dr 4th Gen limo out of them. Mostly wishful thinking on that one though since it could be costly and I don't really have the means to do it right now. ;)

KEEP IT and find a good body man and put new patch panels on it. You can get them from Cassic Industries or Sherman's.

put patch panels on it??? why???? the only rust on this entire car is the outer edge of both doors !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you would want to cut out the rust and put in new metal instead of putting bondo over it???:confused:

Sounds like a nice car. Unfortunately these cars arent in the collectable market yet. I just paid $600 for a 78 w/o motor but has about $1500 worth of rear end parts, roll bar, frame connectors..... So Id say under $1000 for a stock one.

I'd be interested in that one - I've wanted an LN ever since I just missed one a guy down the street from my dad had.

He had it out front with a huge ' FREE ' sign on it - 4 door, 350, auto, console, factory guages, power windows,locks, etc....
turns out a friend of ours had gotten it , but did nto find out who got it until later, just ' someone's coming back for it ', later found out they only wanted the motor, sold the trans and junked the rest... I was sick for weeks.
good news was the same guy gave away the LN had a 73SS in his barn, that his kid had wrecked years earlier - in anutshell we got the one bent a-frame,and one crushed fender - 350 4 speed, F41, no console, numbers matching K code SS car (along with a few hundered pounds of pigeon droppings ) for 800 bucks. so not al was lost.

Anyways - after that I thought the LN was an interesting oddball model and have wanted one for the hoard ( I'm as bad as Jade, trust me, lol ).
I like the unusual ones - had a 75 'S' model, building a 76 Medalist and my just picked up Phoenix hatchback.

I sent a PM - or you might want to post on the for sale 4th gen board and see what happens.
