The 2quick Novas site is not the answer you were looking for. I mini-tubbed my 64' with splitting the factory wheel wells. I have a Mickey Thompson 275-60-15 ET Radial and it is very tight. I have massaged some things and have more to go. Actually, I have a 1/2" more room on one side than the other. I don't think tolerances were held very close in 64'. Had I went with aftermarket wheel tubs, I would have more room. If you want the most room you can get, that's what I would do. I have 2in. dropped front spindles from Heidts and have puchased a 15x5 ProStar wheel for the front. The motor is not in yet so I don't know what height tire I am going to run. Hope this info is useful.
