Hi,
did anyone here try to install a A/C into a non A/C car?
What about the products from VintageAir or HotrodAir? Which system will fit?
I would like to keep a stock look. With the air coming out the stock vents.
Hope you have some advice for me.

Haven't tried to put A/C in a non A/C car, but I can tell you the firewall holes are different between them. The A/C suitcase is tall and the firewall is cut up higher than on a non A/C car and the vent behind is different. If your going to convert using stock stuff you would need alot of parts.

The cutout in the firewall is different. On non-A/C cars the cut-out goes full length of heater box and is narrower, where on A/C cars the hole is squared and lower where A/C box attaches. I have a 4 door with A/C that has the firewall exposed and a 2 door with non-A/C with firewall exposed. I will get some pics of both later so you can see the difference.
Other than that, you'll just have to make those modifications for the A/C and it'll work.
