I remeber a couple of years ago reading somewhere that back in 75 or 76 Chevrolet made some novas and called them Mako Shark Nova. They were sold in the mid-west and equipped from what I remember with special front and rear spoilers. Does anyone have anymore information on these cars???

I don't remember where I saw the article, but I read there were very few made to promote the movie Jaws when it came out.

Didn't they also have rear disc brakes? I thought I remember reading they did. And they weren't a Chevy factory special edition, but a certain dealership actually modified them to be a special edition. I could be wrong.

there was a discussion on the 3rd gen board a while back on the wings, and the opinion was overall anti-wing.

personally I htink they work well on 4th gens, and have an NOS 3rd gen T'A wing waiting that I;d thought of putting on my medalist, but have thought to keep it more stock appearing now, so who knows.

more a personal taste thing, as long as the wing works with the body lines ( ie: TA wings or 442 wings are squarer and work, GTO wings are more rounded at the ends and are quite right, etc... )

just my inflated 7 1/2 cents worth.
