I am no longer receiving email notifications from my subscribed threads  I have it set to "instant notification". I know others are experiencing the same issue. Does something have to be reconfigured with the mail server, etc after the forum's server migration? Another DNS issue?

For those who are not getting notifications (I'm not), who's your internet provider? I'm on Yahoo/SBC.

I've been into my Bulk folder, and they are not there. Still, there are reasons that could happen. I need to talk to Steve about this.
Is anyone else having problems with notifications?

I'm not seeing a huge amount of complaints here, so this is probably not happening to the majority. Steve (admin) says that yahoo.ca is working for him.

I'm gonna bet it is a configuration issue that Steve will get worked out. Reme, ber the site has been moved to a new dedicated server, so there are going to be some issues to work out.
As far as the complaints go, that probably depends on how many people use subscription notification. I hardly ever use it, so I haven't missed. The guys who use it regularly are the ones who are mising it right now.

Gents,
I will continue to look into this, but right now I'm writing this problem off as a client problem. I have subscribed to two different threads and I have gotten email notifications for both threads. This tells me that the subscription script file is working properly, and your emails might be getting blocked by a spam filter on the client side.

Has anyone recieved New PM notifications since the swap? I've noticed those aren't going through either.
It's possible the new web host is being seen by our inbound email servers as spam and throwing it in the trash before it gets delivered. I've checked my Bulk (spam) folders for the last few days and haven't seen anything in there, so I'm thinking they aren't even being sent.
I'm thinking this may not be a client problem. Steve, is your notification email address (where notices are sent to) provided by the same folks that are hosting the site or are you being notified at a different personal address?

My notifications are being receive on two account, and one address is webmaster@stevesnovasite.com (yes to answer your question). These are then autoforwarded to my yahoo.ca account. My other account is receiving notifications directly to my yahoo.ca account. Johnny also said earlier that he recieves notifications at his hotmail.com account. So, there is nothing I can do from here because it is working. In saying that, I am still working on this with the hosting pers now.
