Remember reading your thread a while back on you recommendation for media blasting in Southern Calif. Old link seems to be broken. Would you be so kind to post his info again? His name was Steve... correct?

I just took mine to Orange County Sandblasting for walnut. Ill post some pics of the results If you like. I looked at a few cars there and the results were very good. I was quoted around 700.00 for my wagon

Rookie thanks for the info. That seems like a great deal. No primer included in that price correct? Would really enjoy seeing the pictures.

Believe it or not I got a quote of $1800-2000 for media blast and prime down here in San Diego. And I would consider my car fairly clean, with new floor pans and all. Was wondering if traveling out of the county would help out on the price enough. Think that you may just have answered that one for me.

Well sort of. I designed em. my buddy programed the haas that spits em out, and I finish em from there. I need to get back at it. When we put ads in the MX mags, the phone rings all day long. :eek:

All we are doing now are the ones for racerX ( mx mag )

Did you find a media blaster?

Hey, you guys joy riding on my thread?

Thanks for the info Jrocket... even if it was a bit on the late side.:D Called Steve Curly but not sure if I will be taking the sedan up there. All said and done think it will be going to Hot Rods and Custom Stuff in Escondido for media blast and DP90. A little expensive but "hopefully" a great job. Just a little closer for me... right around the corner from my work so I can check on them.

Side note... you pull that shifter out yet Funky?
