Question for Colorado

Hi guys, I am planning a road trip with some car buddies to Denver in August for the Super Chevy Show. Anyway, how is the weather around that time? Any advice or must see things in the Denver area? I will be there Fri - Sun. 8/18/06 to 8/20/06. I am coming from TX, and it will be hot here. Anyway, any help will be appreciated.:D

It will be hot here, too. The whole area is paved. I go every year. Usually get sunburned. :D Occasionally it will rain, though. Thanks for the info Danno. I wanted to drive my Nova, and some friends wanted to take their muscle cars, but the gas money will ruin the trip, so we are all cramming into a minivan and hoping for the best.:o

Definetly a beatiful state!! Went out there to Super Chevy last year and took some time to drive around Denver site seeing. Real cool dragstip!
