no horn

I finally got to the bottom of the reason I had no horn. I took the steering wheel off and everything else that was in the way. When I got to the wiring harness, the brass button with the spring in it was lazy. The spring seems at this point, to be too weak to push the brass button out to make contact with the brass ring. The problem is that I see no way to put a new spring in. The spring and button are built into the wiring harness. Anyone have a solution?

Well I just said forget it and went with a awesome billet custom steering wheel, and put the horn on the dash by the stereo.(push button horn- helps me keep my finger down when I'm pissed off...since I have to reach for the button):eek:
