drivers door window weather strip

on a 73 drivers door, the window glass rolls up into a channel at the top with like a pressed felt. how is that removed for replacement? thanks.

just use something to pry it out, i used a small screw driver..the material at one time was soft and easy to come out..now im sure its hard as plastic..

i did every w/strip in my 70..
