How reasonable are they on tires? I'm debating buying a set for my truck, and it would be nice to just bolt them up and go!

The wagon and the black deuce are sweet!

Allen..... they are very reasonable.... when you buy the wheels, its like you get the tires for free. and they mounted and balanced them. all 4 mounted and shipped to my door with lugs were only 1250. i am very happy.

If my Deuce ever gets fixed, I'll probably go with the Coy's as well.

These guys have come up with an awesome wheel at a great price.

Are you all getting the wheel and tire package deals directly from Coy's? Just wondering because I don't see any tires on their site. Anyone know what brand of tires they carry?

Yes... they offer wheel and tire packages via phone and they are listed in a few magazines. I dont know why they dont advertise on their site though. They sell Kumho Ecsta tires. They have a very good review on TireRack.com

I plan on ordering a set pf the Coy's C-5 chrome rims for my 3rd Gen in the next couple of weeks, but I am just curious if there are anymore opinions out there about the wheels.

Coy's defintely does not have very good follow through with their shipping. I ordered C-5's 17's (front) and 18's (rear) with tires on 7/25 and was supposed to have them by 7/31, but no. I called again on 7/31, and they were out of 18's, which were supposed to be in on 8/1, so I would have them by 8/4, but no. I just called again today and now they are out of 17's and 18's, which are supposed to be in by 8/9, and I should have them by 8/12. Needless to say, it only took them one day to take my $1600. If they would have just told me up front it would take 3-4 weeks I wouldn't have a problem, but it is irritating getting a different story every week. I am tempted to cancel the order, but it is too good of a deal price wise to pass up.

I would be bummed and upset as well. Crazy part is I ordered my 18's on July 28th and received two on August 2nd and the other two on August 3rd. I hate to think that I received the 18's you had already reserved :o

I know you feel like your being jacked around, but the wait will be well worth it, the wheels look killer once on the car. I also ordered mine without tires so I could purchase them locally....maybe that sped up the delivery process???

I actually called Dave today and tried to cancel my order because once again the wheels did not ship when promised. He said he could refund my money for the wheels, but I would have to pay 20% for re-stocking the tires. After some discussion, he promised the wheels & tires would ship by next Tuesday, or he is going to give me a full refund. Anyway, I do hope the wheels look good, but the first thing I am going to do it figure out how to remove the Coys logo.

Its a sticker.
Sorry you had problems. For all its worth, Dave along with his brother and father are the sole proprietors of Coys Wheel Co. They are a small company trying to compete with the larger companies. This is one reason they are so reasonably priced. I agree their lack of follow up can be annoying at times, but i also think they are a little over wheeled at the moment. The wheels are great looking. Just be patient..... it'll be worth the wait.

I was half kidding about removing the logo, but it is good to know it's only a sticker.

I'm sure the wheels will be worth the wait.

Beans66

Definately worth the wait, they are stunning.....and especially stunning for the price they are selling them for.

Forgot to mention, I did follow up twice after ordering my wheels. I called later on the day I ordered to make sure the order processed on my credit card without any issues. Also called back the following day to obtain tracking numbers so I could verify that they had shipped. Maybe that alone had them thinking I was being a bit over concerned and they figured they better get them out to keep me from calling all the time....lol.

How does 1300 bucks for a set of of 17x8 polished C5 Wheels and 4 275/40/17 Hankook tires sound? That's shipping and all from a dealer in Indy.

If I decide to get them, they will go on a '64 C10 pickup. I just love the look of those wheels, and they're not as common as other wheels i.e. Torque Thrusts.

1300 bucks is only 300 more than I paid in '97 for Radial T/As and 15 inch Centerline Telstars. Not bad IMO.

Not sure about this but if anyone is interested in Coy Wheels PM me. My friend is a dealer for Coy. I think the only one in the country right now and if we can get enough people to do it then we should be able to get a sweet deal. I think all we need is 5 or 6 people. Of course the more the merrier and, possibly, we could get an even sweeter deal if more people buy. I'm going to make this it's own post so look for it but you can also PM me from here.:D
