I think the mirror might be legit. I've had a 3 1st gen parts cars with the same mirror attached in the same place.

Maybe a dealer installation???

No, he said the a/c compressor was stolen, and that someone cut the top to try and break in. Nice looking car, but it seems like people rarely get the money they want for first gens, at least on ebay, unless it's a pro street.

My mirror is in the same place. The rear quarter SS emblems look to be off a '65? Hmm... Its up to 10k so I guess he won't be hurting. Feel sorry for the winning bidder though. I would be kinda mad about shelling out that much for a half arsed resto.
