1965 Nova SS Hood Release

I have a 65 Nova SS with the grill guard installed on the bumper. I can hardly reach the hood release, I have been told that when the grill guard was installed it came with a hood release extension. If this is so can somene post a pic of such or were it can be purchased. Thanks
